Aspen Ridge Deer Ranch is family owned and operated, located near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. River breaks, heavy bush and open meadows make our location ideal whitetail deer habitat.
Our carefully managed food plots, rugged terrain and natural vegetation encourage the growth of big deer. Saskatchewan deer are unique in both antler and body size(300-350 lb. live weight) due to their exposure to some of the harshest winter conditions on the continent. These cold winters ensure that only the big and strong survive.

The accommodations were first class, the food was great, the scenery was beautiful and the deer were enormous. Most important of all were the lifetime friends I made in you, Louise and Kyle. My advice to anyone thinking of booking a trip; Make the trip to the “Great North” : you wont regret it! They don’t call it “great” for nothing! And, bring along plenty of film – you will need it!! Bring a DVD recorder if you can; just the DVD I made of my trip is a priceless treasure to me. When I show friends the DVD recording of some deer I passed up they can’t believe I could keep my finger off the trigger and let them walk. Looking back, I can’t believe I did either!
